Bag

Harness

Tank Bagz Info
Initially designed for bikes with plastic and alloy tanks, it became pretty obvious that we had a pretty good all round tank bag. The bag itself is scalloped to reduce contact with the horn and starter button. The lid opens 180 degrees for a clear view of the contents. I can just pull over open the bag and take a photo, gloves, helmet and all. We add bit of colour to the inside base to ensure that things don’t get lost in a black void.
Refuelling is a one-touch system, unclip the front clip and the bag rotates onto the rider’s seat.
Our Tank Bags feature no rattle zips, padded sides and base. It converts to a handy backpack in seconds.
Our unique stretch harness will fit almost any bike. It is truly a universal fit. Supplied with 4 flat stainless steel strips enclosed in webbing to be bent to a shape to best fit each bike and 2 straps with loops at the end to slip over sub frames giving each rider heaps of attachment options. The hooks can be bent to any shape required to attach the harness to bodywork or frame.
Why the tank bag is the way it is, the design brief I gave myself:
- The bag must not interfere with switch gear.
- It must not interfere with the view of the instruments.
- It must fit neatly in the space in front of the rider.
- It must not rub against the belly of the rider.
- The zippers must last, be easy to use with cold, wet hands and they must not rattle annoyingly.
- The harness must conform to the shape of the fuel tank.
- Refuelling must be easy.
- Items should not disappear into a black hole inside the bag. The lid should open completely….180 degrees
- The bag must sit still and not bounce around. A combination of side release clips and velcro on the harness.
While many of these attributes are a series of carefully considered compromises, I think that many of the issues that riders encounter when using tank bags have been "thought out".
Made in our Melbourne factory. Tested and developed over a two year period and 20,000km.

Volume of the bag is approximately 7 litres.
