Testing is complete on the MSR Elixir 2 tent.

And I'm impressed.

I've never been a big fan of side entry tents as the weather can climb in when you do.

This tent is different. The cross, "spreader " pole makes the sides sit up very straight and not only reduces the chance of rain getting in, they make the inside much roomier. I didn't feel that claustrophobic, hemmed in feeling in this tent.

Quick, easy to set up and weighing in at 2.6 kg this is a ripper. It comes in a roomy oval bag so it sits well on the bike. 

The tent also includes a footprint which I reckon is  nice touch. Most tent makers sting another $70+ for one. Naturally the footprint protects the base of the tent from sharp stuff on the ground, improves control of the wet from rain or condensation beneath. On a warm night this allows you to just set up the fly over the footprint

Highly recommended, this is one of the best bike tents I've used, if not the best. In my opinion (and others I respect) reckon MSR's Hubba Bubba is just too lightwieght to  last.
